Rev. Robert J. Williams, Jr., M. Div., CPM
Robert J. Williams, Jr. is the firstborn son of Rev. Dr. Robert J. Williams, Sr. and Dr. Lillie R. Williams. After completing high school in the public school system of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Rev. Williams, Jr. earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Divinity Degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Rev. Williams, Jr. was licensed to ministry in 1990 and ordained in 1995. For 17 years, he served as Pastor of Good Hope Baptist Church in King George, Virginia. In November, 2013, he was elected Co-Pastor of St. Paul Church, his home church. Subsequently, in October, 2014, he was installed as the 17th Pastor of St. Paul Church. Professionally, Rev. Williams, Jr. serves as Council Administrator for the Prince George’s County Council. He is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Legislative Branch of government. Rev. Williams, Jr. earned the designation of Certified Public Manager (CPM) via a Regional Executive Development Program jointly directed by The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and The George Washington University. He has also completed a Fellowship with the Congress of National Black Churches. Pastor Williams is married. He and his wife, Demetriss, have four daughters, one son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
